A prophecy made
Cronus feared his own blood for his end
Foresaw the future, Uranus and Gaia
that the change was impossible to bend
Power lust clouded his mind
Swallowed, were the offsprings before mother could realize
Rhea took to Gaia’s abode
Born was the last, while Cronus swallowed the treacherous stone
Mount Ida, sacred to the child
Zeus, the name was nursed in exile
Wrapped in Manhood, he challenged the might
Cronus feared the nemesis but took to fight
Hades and Poseidon rose from oblivion
Gigantes and Cyclopes were rescued from the dungeon
Titanomachy, the Titans suffered the curse
Casted were they, in the shadow world of Mount Tartarus
Zeus, the invincible lord of sky and thunder
Shared the worlds with two of his brothers
Poseidon dominated the water and seas
Hades owned the hell of underworld mysteries
The King of Gods, he was realized
Zeus, was now a caretaker of the heavens and paradise
Thunderbolt, he hurled at the liars and oathbreakers
Nobody escaped the wrath of the lawmaker
Hera, the queen lived solitary
For her king was famous for adultery
Given command, Aegis created the spectacles in the air and sky
For he was the God who dominated the natural phenomenon of life
The king of the dark and deadly tempest
He was a father to the gods and the mere mortals
He was the creator of time and space
He was the savior of justice and traits
An advocate of the poor
He demanded from rich, the charity
Punished, were the caretakers
of perjury and cruelty
He was the upholder of institutions
And the quintessential image of the power and might
He was the ruthless leader
And Godfather to the Greek pantheon life
