All the content conceived as part of this website is the author’s original work and is not influenced by any third-party. Only this website’s author has the right to add, update, change the content on this website, or replicate it on any other platform (See Copyright Infringement section below for more details).
Caching
Due to various factors (geography, bandwidth, etc.), it is very likely that users across the world accessing this website may face high page load times. To enhance the user experience and to control the page load times, we have enabled a caching mechanism on our website that will help in serving the web pages more quickly. Although, a side-effect of the cache configuration is that there may be times when users will not be able to see updated/new content on the website and a cached page will still be rendered.
To tackle this challenge while keeping the advantage of caching intact, it is recommended that users should refresh the web page (if already visited earlier and if it is updated) and the website’s main/landing page in their browser (using refresh icon near the URL bar) when intimation of new/updated content is sent (it will be sent only to subscribers via email as part of the new post updates. Check the footer menu for the subscription form).
As a general rule, we would recommend our users (subscribers and visitors) to refresh the site’s main page at least once a day (post 11:30 AM IST preferably) in their browser for any latest updates. The users can check the “Recent Graffiti” section on the main page that will help them to identify any updates or new posts published. The refresh should work on all the browsers, but in case if it does not, the users can clear their browser’s cache and retry. If the issue still exists, kindly contact us via Drop Box.
Likes
We have enabled “like” functionality on our posts for users to show their love. Due to the caching policy, there is a possibility that when a user “likes” a post, the “like” may seem to be not stored/captured when the browser is refreshed. We would request user(s) not to worry in such a case as the like will refresh in due time as per the caching policy. If a user has liked/unliked a post, a pop-up notification will be displayed on the user screen depicting the current status. User(s) can relax post the pop-up notification and don’t have to refresh the browser.
Email Communication
Email is currently the only mode of communication that we use for communication with our users. To get notified of the latest blog updates (for subscribers) and for any response from our end, we would request our users to never spam our email ids.
We also request our users to identify the category mailboxes once to understand where different types of emails from us reach. For example, in Gmail, we have mailbox categories like “Primary”, “Social”, “Promotions”, “Updates”, etc. and mostly, the new post updates mail from us will go to “Promotions” mailbox. Likewise, the subscription mails might go to “Primary” mailbox, and so on.
Note: We are using Gmail accounts currently for the email services.
We will send email notifications/responses when:
- A user subscribes to our website.
- A user unsubscribes.
- Any new post is published (Applicable for TUC subscribers only)
- The user’s comment on any post is approved after moderation.
- A user wants to subscribe to the replies on his/her comment on any post. Post subscription, emails shall be sent whenever there is a new reply.
- A query/feedback/issue is raised via our “Drop Box” page.
- A direct mail is sent to us for any urgent request/inquiry.
As part of our communication process, we would also request the users to always use our Drop Box to initiate any dialogue (query, feedback, issue, etc.). Thereafter, the mode of response and communication for the concerned topic(s) will be via direct emails only. This process flow will help us in properly maintaining our communication thread(s).
Note: Not adhering to the process can lead to the user not receiving a response from our end. If there is an issue with the “Drop Box” submission, users can contact us via tuc.query@gmail.com.
Comments
We have enabled the “comment” feature on the posts as we value healthy debates and conversations. We also welcome constructive criticism and feedback. However, any comment(s) which are (i) targetted to defame an individual or a group or religion or a country, (ii) racist, (iii) abusive, (iv) having an agenda, (v) capable to spread hatred, or (vi) can hurt anyone’s sentiments will not be tolerated. We thus moderate every comment to keep the integrity of this website and individuals in place. We have the right to accept, reject, and modify any comment(s) before being published on a post/page.
Note: User(s) should wait for some seconds for the successful submission of their comment for moderation. Comment approved mail will be sent to the user (on the mail id as filled up when submitting the comment) once the comment is accepted.
Also, as already stated in the “Email Communication” section, a user can subscribe to his/her comment on a post that will enable him/her to get notified when anyone replies to his/her comment. Of course, a comment subscription mail will first be sent to the user for confirmation. After subscription and if the user comment is approved after moderation, the user will get notified of the replies. The User will also be able to unsubscribe to the comment subscription via email(s) as part of the replies.

We respect user privacy and consider it as our top priority. We keep the personal information that the user(s) submit on our website via the Drop Box page or Subscription form only for internal references and communication purposes. We do not sell our user(s) details to third parties for their marketing purposes.
