Something’s always wrong inside my head
the chilling cold ties me to the bed
They never back off from my way
those memories cloud me every day

Of all the things that mark my fate
I can’t resist that inevitable change
This silence is like the resonating sound
piercing the depths of the emptiness around

Sunlight dawns on them as I walk down the streets
while the rain pours from the grey skies, only above me
Is this life real or the one outside these doors?
can’t decipher the truth as my soul never thirsts for more

They say reality is not what I feel or see
and there’s more to life than this misery
I rage when I hear them say these words
and I feel they don’t understand what’s hurt

An argument breaks out with them
and then I’m lost within
I give up and go back to where I belong
the reality and illusion remains a mystery to be found
