Leave Behind: Fly Across

Let there be sunshine across the horizon today
Let there be no one in disarray
Let there be peace across the skies
Let there be moments to cherish tonight

I’m falling like an angel
I won’t give up my patience
I will try to make this world my haven
I’m sure to find a reason

The thousand lies that behold
And the truth that’s never told
I’ll survive through the test of time
And fly across leaving my miseries behind

A fall to the ground
And you can’t carry on
I’ll not judge myself this way
I’ll bounce back from the setbacks of the day

You crawl out of the dark spaces all alone
A pinch of fire is what you need to be in the zone
I’ll fight the concerns around
I’ll assure them, it will be safe and sound

All the darkness that’s poured within
I’ll crush the sorrows beneath my skin
I’ll fight the monster inside
And fly across leaving my miseries behind
