I’ve seen so much
in this short life,
it has been a book
of pain and the perfect disguise.
I’ve created
a deep void for myself
all these years,
I don’t have to
reach the other side
to see the world that’s not real.

I’m still covered
in the paint of my sorrows,
and I feel like
I’m smothered by the hollow.
The lights
to my home have turned black,
and
there is no path
that can take me back.

Forever,
I’ve been trying
to find peace in my life,
but,
how do I find my way
when there is nothing left inside.

I’m an arrow
that has no target,
I’m a hurricane
that brings the dark,
I’m now living
with the guilt,
a dark side,
that never departs.
