Never thought: A Love Not To Die For

The night,
it dresses up early today
The stars are left misguided
in the skies today
There is no one here
beside me tonight
And all your memories
pour out from the inside

The trust,
I tried to reach for your hand
But you backed off
betraying the love we had

I always waited for your ratification
but you never took it into consideration
All the feelings were lost within
and you never wanted me to breathe them in

Your mysterious ways
costed my sanity
Your egotistical self
spilled out the reality

When the days were dark
and the hurt was real
I healed your scars
till there was nothing left to conceal

When the nights were cold
and the paths were tough
I thought you pulling me out
and save me from this cruel world

I never thought
we will fall apart this way
Never thought
you will take away so much that I gave

It’s time for redemption
I’ve been seeking for so long
It’s time to realize
love is not always true to die for
