#The Realization
My head is paining
and the arms are getting weaker
The thorns cut through my face
and the legs are getting colder
Crimson drops trickle down the body
and my hands are nailed to the bar
The bruises are engravings of the whips unleashed
and deep cuts are the permanent scars
What you went through, I now understand
Because my flesh and bones are stuck to this wooden plank
Oh Jesus, how did you fight through this unbearable hell
When all I can feel is the open coffin and the nails within
#The Truth
The Romans, they framed you for the things you undid
Afraid, were the leaders that their authority would be challenged
A Messiah, you were dreaded to be of the poor people
Your teachings seemed all-powerful to topple their mighty kingdom
In the wake of the night, Judas turned to be a spy
The leaders seized the opportunity and captured you alive
They turned you over to the Romans for sacrifice
Blasphemy against the king, falsely you were testified
The ink of approval bottled in the hands of Pilate
But a burst of fanaticism clouded his eye of judgement
Power, he chose over the truth he had otherwise realized
Jesus of Nazareth was ultimately stamped to be crucified
The world saw the extraordinary events that marked the time of sorrow
The veil of the temple was torn apart and an earthquake followed
The dead saints got resurrected and traveled the holy city
You were truly a “Son of God”, then sang the world in entirety.
