If only I had: Pushed Away

If only I had a soul
If only I was something more
I would have seen the world with you
I would have never let you go

I forfeited the fight long ago
You are not coming back, no more
You meant something to me
You tried not to let me bleed
But, left behind, I came too far
Never thought you could’ve erased my scars
I again try to move on in life
But you are somewhere engraved in my mind
