screaming wild

Saw mayhem
sweep the night
and so deafening
were those cries
There was blood
all around
as flesh and bones
fell to the ground
Bodies,
they writhed in pain
and the spectacle
grew utterly insane
Death and darkness
ran the show
as you
saw the wrath unfold
Jumping
off the fences,
shaken,
you were looking
for a haven
Was lost
in the sea of devastation
had
nowhere to hide and nowhere to run
You tried
to reach out for the loved ones
but
were lost in the screams and hurt
The sirens
roared across the streets
as you pleaded
for God’s mercy
Tears
fell down your eyes
you wanted to help
but were left numb and immobile
City
woke up to the horrific night
and
it was time to show unity and fight
People
flooded the devastated streets
and helped
the traumatized out of reach
Barbaric
was the act of selected humanity
done
to shake the essence of unity
But I know
you won’t back down against any cruelty
coz
you will stand your ground till eternity
No matter
how hard they hit
terror
will never break your will
One day
they will fall apart and die
you shall then
write a new chapter of life

This song depicts the scenes during a terror attack, the state of people during the attack, and resilience shown by people in such testing times.
