#### Into the ashes (Short rap song about abuse)

Came in this world
A Shining star for thee
Smiles for a day
The world at my feet

Then came the night
The complacency was thrown away
The hurt defined by your love
That even the angels went to the grave

Thought, it was bad to spill out
Thought, they will never leave me alone
But, the storm brewing inside
Was more than that I could own

Fast forward
Everything didn’t go as planned
They found a different path
And my life left on the edge of being damned

Treated like a shit
Always hurting and gazing at the sky
Wishing for the rain to come
And wash away the wounds I keep inside

There is a reason
Why people choose the path
Embracing the ecstasy
When the reality is just as bad

I hear them calling my name
I know, but I can’t
Even the best days for me
Are the ones
You do not want to have

I know you know me
Made it this far, you beside me
But the black I’ve been carrying within
Is something no one will ever see

Should I stand in front of you
Show how broken I am
Or, should I smile
Pretending to be the person, not I am

I am not sure
If I am done with this life
Or, do I need to see more
The sanity inside of me
It took away, bleeding I’m left all alone

Maybe, I was born to die
Maybe, I was never meant to get through
The hurt and the pain I’ve been living all the while
Will turn me into the ashes, you’ll see soon
