Sunshine: Beautiful Love

It’s been days since I saw you,
my heart aches and craves for you.
The first time we met,
I was lost in your eyes,
a magnet, a sea of the divine.

Sitting beside you,
was one of the best feelings.
Every word we said,
and every look we exchanged,
gave me a beautiful chill.

I saw the sadness
clinging to your heart,
the tears dried up,
and piercing like a dart.
You needed someone
to take away the pain,
I knew the feeling and I stayed.

I was sure,
my love is true,
and, I confessed it to you.
Your eyes glittered,
and you blushed a bit,
I knew you accepted,
and my world was lit.

I’m fortunate that I met you,
I’m in lost of words
when you are near.
You are my sunshine,
my heartbeat, and my soul,
a drug,
to pull me out of comatose.

I have searched
for true love
all my life,
I have tried
to hold on,
but in the process,
lost the strength to survive.

I never want to let you go,
a scenario I have seen before.
Stay with me till eternity,
heal me,
from the person
I never wanted to be.
