It seems like ages to me
since the world made sense to me
All the colors have faded, hoping
Lost sanity, I’m forever bleeding

Can’t go far enough like this
I’m chasing the shadows that no more exist
Can’t let go of this feeling, all alone
I want someone to lead me back home

The space between me and you
has left a void too heavy to carry through
I’m lost in the fog of instability
The tears now flow in perpetual misery

I want to see the sun again
See a smile on your face
My life has left me in the gloom
I want someone to lead me back home

The good old times we had
always come rushing to my aid
I try to hold on
but they betray as I breathe them in

I want to be with you again
Show you the darkness I now live
A strength only you own
I want someone to lead me back home
