I saw you,
living on a fake hope,
it was time,
and you were not coming back home.

Behind the glass,
you didn’t care,
I was fighting my demons,
but you didn’t stay.

I felt nothing,
just a hurricane sweeping my mind,
my senses fading,
and the same darkness holding from behind.

Wrapped up in white,
the screams and deafening voices,
I saw people who loved you,
burn with your ashes.

You held me
until I could fight every bend,
and left me,
when I needed a friend.

Maybe,
you wanted to be free,
but,
why at the cost of my misery?

The void you left behind,
still lives inside me,
a lock on my heart I carry,
still can’t find the key.
