I loved watching Shaktimaan, Rangoli, chitrahaar, raja aur Rancho. And DD2 had Disney time from 6-7pm. ? Never missed that! I think Rangoli and chitrahaar are still aired every Sunday.
I got a chance to visit Doordarshan Kendra in Bangalore a couple of years ago. As we were electronics and communication students, we were given a detailed tour of the centre. They do have pretty latest equipment (atleast it was latest when I visited). But I agree with you, programs are not that interesting as it used to be during the 90’s. Or may be, we don’t find it interesting because we have a lot of choices now when it comes to TV channels.
